🅿️  Parking The apartment is very centrally located. Right in front of the building, parking is only allowed overnight from 6 PM to 8 AM and on Sundays. However, there are many nearby streets where you can park for free. We've taken the liberty of creating a map for you that shows where you can park. You can find this map in the pictures and in the apartment upon arrival. If you’re really out of luck and can’t find a spot, there are parking garages available! The closest one is the BeWe Center parking garage. The maximum rate for overnight parking in the basement level is 3€.

Neighbourhood

Yay, you’ve finally arrived! :)

And the good news is, that’s it for the long journeys. If you’re arriving by train, our apartment is just a three-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk from Bremen Central Station. The vacation can begin! All these places and more tips for various activities in Bremen can be found on-site!

Once you arrive at the apartment, you can scan a QR code, and all the locations will be conveniently displayed on a Google Maps map.

BREAKFAST 🧇

—"Golden Brunch" across the street offers an exclusive selection of hot dishes (you have to try the Menemen!), plus you can order delicious Börek, sesame rings, and much more. Their enormous cookie selection is also not to be missed.

—If you prefer a more traditional breakfast, Bakery Rolf is a great choice. It’s just a three-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing rolls to bring back to the apartment.

—And while you're at the bakery, you can also do your grocery shopping at EDEKA right next door.

LUNCH ☀️

Not in the mood to cook for lunch? No problem, here’s a hidden gem:

🍲 Suppkultur – They serve fresh soups daily. (There’s also a larger location in the “Viertel” neighborhood, where they offer pasta, desserts, and small salads. Everything is homemade and one of our favorites.)

DINNER 🍷

🇮🇹 Al Papagallo is right across the street and is an Italian restaurant you won’t find on every corner. Higher prices but a lovely ambiance and excellent food.

🍜 Alternatively, just step out our front door into Ani House. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We can’t decide what’s better—the ramen selection or the bao burgers. Let us know which team you’re on! ;)

🍣 For sushi lovers, we recommend Yakumi at Hillmannplatz, close to the central station. You can reserve a table for two hours of all-you-can-eat sushi. The quality is excellent, and they have a wide range of fishless alternatives. Even non-sushi lovers will find plenty to enjoy from the extensive menu. It’s almost impossible to get a table spontaneously, so please try to book in advance. —If you’re looking for high-end sushi and don’t mind a longer trip, you must visit "Akashi" in the Überseestadt district. You should definitely reserve a table in advance because the place is small and exclusive. The chef studied Japanese cuisine and opened her dream restaurant. She and her partner are incredibly warm and passionate about their place, making for a great guest experience. Be prepared for slightly longer wait times.

🌱 If you're after an amazing vegan option, head to "Vengo." Incredible value for money, with a large antipasti selection and an array of delicious dishes (the bread salad is amazing, and the stuffed eggplant is our absolute favorite). For dessert, try the vegan chocolate cream cake with raspberries and coffee. They have more cakes, but honestly, this one is all you need!

COFFEE & CAKE 🍰☕️

For a coffee break, these two gems are worth a visit:

—Harbour Coffee is our favorite café and a hidden gem. The cinnamon rolls are divine, and the coffee specialties are solid.

—Coffee Corner at the lively Sielwall crossroads in the “Viertel” neighborhood offers plenty of cozy seating over two floors. They have a wide selection of unique cakes that you won’t find everywhere. It’s also a great spot to work on your laptop.

SPORTS 💪🏼

And if you’re feeling guilty after all the delicious food, you can burn off the calories at FitX (a well-known fitness chain).

ALCOHOL 🥂

For late-night snacks and alcohol, the kiosk at the corner is your go-to place. If you need more recommendations for great local spots or fun activities, feel free to ask us anytime.

Have fun! :)

Transport

TRAM 🚋

If you're arriving by train, you can take tram line 1 (direction Bf Mahnhof), line 4 (direction Lilienthal or Borgfeld), or line 10 (direction Sebaldsbrück) from the central station. All these lines stop at "Am Dobben." From there, it's just a two-minute walk to the apartment.

BUS 🚌

Bus line 25 (direction Osterholz) departs from the central station behind the tram tracks. Please get off at "Bremer Dobbenweg," and it's also not far to walk from there. If you're traveling light, you can also enjoy a fifteen-minute walk or grab an e-scooter. We have Lime and Bolt scooters here.

CAR 🚗

The apartment is very centrally located. Right in front of the building, parking is only allowed overnight from 6 PM to 8 AM and on Sundays. However, there are many nearby streets where you can park for free. We've made an effort to create a map for you, showing these streets :) You'll find the map in the pictures and upon arrival in the apartment. If you're really out of luck and can't find a spot, you can still use the parking garages! The nearest one is the BeWe Center parking garage. The maximum rate for overnight parking in the basement is 3€. Have a safe journey!
